Why “The Acclaimed Edit”

The Acclaimed Edit is our family’s personal editorial — a reflection of how the Acclaimed One, Jesus Christ, is shaping our lives and our home. As a family, we are yearning to draw closer to Him, to live according to His will, and to use the gifts He has given us to glorify His name.

Here, we’ll share what Christ has allowed us to learn, practical ways we’re orienting our daily lives toward Him, and what it means to build a family in the Lord’s name — to serve Him, further His message, and walk the narrow path together.

The word acclaim means “to praise enthusiastically or publicly.”
That is exactly what we are doing. We are proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ — not in secret or quietly to ourselves, but openly, so that all who have ears may hear, all who have eyes may see.

“The Acclaimed” refers to the One who is highly praised, honored, and celebrated — Jesus Christ, our Lord. Everything we write will center on acclaiming Him as our Savior and aligning our lives with Him as our foundation.

In that spirit, The Acclaimed Edit is our family’s ongoing editorial about life — our stance, our faith, and our journey toward Christ.
